1. Who we are

trailph (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a platform for trail running events in the Philippines, operated by Bar-R-camp. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.

2. What data we collect

When you register for an event, we collect:

Full name, bib name, age, gender, and nationality
Email address
Emergency contact name and number
Singlet size and selected event category
Proof of payment (uploaded image or file)
Registration timestamp and IP address

We do not collect payment card details. Payment is made directly to the organizer via GCash or other stated methods.

3. How we use your data

Your data is used to:

Process and manage your event registration
Communicate registration status and event updates
Prepare race-day materials (bib, start list)
Coordinate emergency response if needed during the event
Comply with legal obligations

4. Who we share your data with

We share your data with:

Event organizers — to manage race-day logistics
Service providers — our hosting (Vercel) and database providers, bound by data processing agreements

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

5. Data retention

We retain registration data for up to 3 years after the event date, or as required by applicable law. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us.

6. Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have the right to:

Be informed of how your data is used
Access a copy of your personal data
Correct inaccurate data
Request erasure of your data (subject to legal limitations)
Object to processing
File a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC)
